Over the past thirty-five years of doing TEAM-BUILDING with leadership teams, we've learned several important things, including:

High-Performing Leadership Teams: Program Steps and Deliverables
To empower your leadership teams, here's how our TEAM-BUILDING program works:
1. Agree with executive management on the 7-12 participants for the leadership team.
2. Schedule a session with the leadership team for 3.5 hours, including lunch or dinner (9:30 AM to 1:00 PM or 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM) on a date and at a location of your choice.
3.Kick off the session with 10 minutes of introductions, followed by 10 minutes of NAME YOUR MOST FAVORITE TEAM (sports, music, etc.) - a discussion led by Steve to engage the group, where he'll share his most favorite team of all time and why and have the participants do the same.
4. Conduct the main part of the session (with a relaxed and happy team) via a well-crafted 2-hour focus group designed and facilitated by Steve, where he'll review Chemistry, Synergy and Strategy (CSS - the macro drivers that guide empowered teams) and then, lead the team to help it identify and prioritize its custom Voice of the Team (VoT)/Requirements related to CSS (15 Requirements - five for each of three macro drivers).
5. Finish the session with Steve outlining his approach to analyzing the focus group input, schedule a time to review ACTIONS and HOW to use the findings and then have lunch or dinner with the team.
